Dusty-Plum Suede Robe Dress
One of my longest standing bad habits are run-on sentences. I'm always trying to keep things short and simple, especially when writing a blog post, but i feel like i may slowly but surely just start to let loose. Frankly, I was even a little self conscious about the title for this post because, it may seem like an eenie detail, but without the "-" between dusty and plum it would seem a heck of a lot longer...and that's what i always feel like doing with all my sentences. But i sincerely do my best to cut them.
Anywho, i've been feelin' the suedes a lot these days. The weather in NYC has been bipolar so the suede has been keeping me warm while still keeping my outfit in the "not quite spring yet" zone with it's rich texture. Today was brisk in the morning and evening, but super warm during the day so i thought a breezy, yet still cozy dress would suit the temperature roller coaster, and it did! My body was able to get some air and the suede kept the wind from blowing through me so i wasn't cold later in the evening. I'm going to try to savor wearing suedes before the heat kicks in because i have a sneaking suspicion that it's gonna come out of nowhere like it always does...
