Sheer Pink Trench
The summer heat in NYC has kicked into full gear and HOLY, it is HOT. I don't know why, but i don't like to wear just a spaghetti strap tank as a top. I'm fine going sleeveless, or wearing a dress that has spaghetti straps, but not on a tank top. Anywho, i was wearing this tank and a studded skirt at home, and because of this weird preference, needed to throw something on top when i was heading out. Cardigans are out of the question for me when it's this hot out. I found this trench with sheer sleeves, and overall made of a light, breezy material and it was perfect! I particularly love how the structured collar, layers, clean white buttons and slightly draped front tied the look together in a more conservative way. I don't wear miniskirts often, and i actually feel more comfortable and confident wearing a more covered-up look so this trench was the ideal piece to add some polish, and not to mention add some much needed color because i seem to love the blacks and greys, but it's summer for goodness sake!
